Dietetics & Feeding Therapy
Specialist dietetics and feeding therapy delivered in collaboration with Family Dietetics' Therapy Kitchen, supporting children who find food and mealtimes challenging to build confidence, capability, and calm at the family table.

Food and mealtimes can be a genuine source of stress for many families. Fussy eating, food refusal, restricted diets, and mealtime battles are often physiological rather than behavioural — shaped by a child's sensory profile, motor skills, and past experiences with food. Our Dietetics & Feeding Therapy service supports children and families to understand what sits beneath these challenges and to build a positive, sustainable relationship with food.
This service is delivered in collaboration with Family Dietetics and their Therapy Kitchen — purpose-built spaces set up just like a home kitchen, where children learn about food by exploring, preparing, and investigating it at their own pace. Accredited Practising Dietitians and feeding therapists bring specialist expertise across paediatric nutrition, restrictive eating profiles, and structured feeding therapy programs.
Because feeding skills belong at the family table, everything is designed to translate back home. Sessions focus on reducing mealtime stress for the whole family, building children's comfort and confidence with new foods, and equipping parents and carers with practical, realistic strategies. Where helpful, feeding support can be integrated with your child's wider therapy team at Bloom, so goals stay consistent across play therapy, counselling, and everyday routines.
Support is individualised to each child's age, needs, and profile, and is available to both NDIS-funded participants and private clients. A complimentary discovery call is offered to all new families, and we'll help you find the right starting point — whether that's a dietetics assessment, feeding therapy, or a combined approach.
